Well, welcome to 2012 and also our newly designed blog - still a work in progress at the moment whilst Tim figures out all the nuts and bolts stuff of the new look. However when it’s all working properly we will endeavor to keep you posted on not only what we are up to as photographers but also try and make this blog a place to chat, learn, debate and discuss all sorts of random photography related stuff!
So here’s to a great 2012 to all of you, I’m stuck in France at the moment with cancelled ferries and storms in the English Channel! Still, I can think of worse places to be. I leave you with my favourite photo from the festive period. A picture of my daughter stood on the steps of the parents in laws house near Bordeaux. Pure joy & taken on my iphone ☺

Happy new year, thanks for all what you do to Photography.
Hi Karl, great picture with an iPhone! Happy new year. My new year started with a resolution ((not pixels..). I used to photograph a lot from 10 yrs of age to 20, then less so for 15 years. Self taught mainly. my goal now is take my pictures to another level and I have the ambitious aim of working full time in 3 to 5 years (in the photos I take I think that’s ambitious!). Some might argue that’s too long or short. But that’s the goal. I firstly had to choose a way to learn all over again and did your online course, now staing your DVD’s. The way you teach (and the same accent as me as I’m from the south of england!) is spot on, magic. So thanks for being the first stepping stone, I hope, to change. All the best. Mark
Good luck Mark!
Your little munchkin is adorable! So delighted that you have started a blog, I put you onto my google reader immediately, well done you! I love your tutorial videos, so easy to understand and IN-PLAIN-ENGLISH, I’ve learned a lot, thanks for taking the time. Looking forward to exploring the blog.
